This 3-hour CE course focuses on practical REALTOR® safety strategies you can use in the field, at the office, and throughout your transactions. Learn how to identify potential risks, create realistic safety plans, and protect yourself and your clients while working with unfamiliar people and properties.
You'll learn how to:
- Recognize safety concerns in the field and at the office
- Ask better questions of potential and signed clients
- Create a personal safety pledge and realistic safety plans
- Practice safer habits when showing properties and meeting clients
- Protect sensitive data and personal information

NOTE FROM THE INSTRUCTOR:
According to 2024 NAR statistics, only a little over half of Realtors report working with a brokerage that has a safety protocol in place. My goal is to increase this number while encouraging individual real estate professionals to become more aware and develop a diligence for self defense and protecting their client's personal information.
This 3-Hour safety course meets GREC requirements for continuing education and includes a self defense Q&A with NRA Certified Mark Barr, founder of "Don't be a Victim". This class is taught by a Real Estate Broker and certified CDEI Instructor that is one of less than 20 instructors in the State of Georgia approved by the Center for Realtor Development to teach the Safety Matters Course.
